Dime124 is experiencing some disk issues at the moment, and is running an fsck. We are looking into the problem.

Network issues

We were experiencing some network issues ~2:00PM EST today, as a result of two large DDoS attacks. During the attack, some clients may have experienced high latency and minimal packet loss. This issue was resolved within 8-10 minutes and everything should now be back to normal.

Dime 47 Issues

We had some issues with Dime47 that caused some temporary downtime. It is now up and running properly. Please be advised of the aforementioned maintenance for tomorrow. We are planning on completing this in order to prevent any other issues with the server. Thank you for your patience as we try to provide the most efficient service possible.

Dime47 Server Restore

Hello -

Dime47’s main disk is showing signs of failure. Usually we give this a week to plan and prepare, but the server is fluctuating online and offline constantly, and as it stands right now makes more sense to set an earlier date. I have scheduled this to begin Friday night, 10/17/08 @ 10PM EST.

The estimated downtime involved here is between 8 and 12 hours.

I’ll update the status page once all has started.

Restore Status is about 25% completed:

The accounts are being restored in alphabetical order of their username. Some accounts are already resolving and loading fine. Please allow 4-6hrs for the restore to be completed.

Hello,

About 2 hrs ago jet41.hasweb.com went into a read only file system and has been going to a kernel panic since then. We decided that the best course of action at this time is to proceed with a full system restore.

This will take between 5-12 hours. We will keep this post updated.
