Unfortunately, VPS22 is currently down for an fsck on the main /vz partition. Estimated downtime is 30-45 minutes.

Hello,

Jet41 is currently going through a filesystem check. Once the fsck will be complete, we will be fully investigating as to what the cause of the problems was in the first place. ETA for the server to be back up is ~10-25 minutes.

Hello,

Unfortunately during our last emergency maintenance, the switch that was used as a replacement has proved to be extremely flaky and we would like to get it replaced tonight at 12AM EST. The maintenance window for the replacement is between 45 minutes - 1 hour.

The following list of shared/reseller/vps servers will be affected by the maintenance:

dime141.dizinc.com
dime142.dizinc.com
vps20.hdvps.com

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We understand that uptime is crucial, but there is nothing worse than an unplanned outage, which in some cases could lead to even further, extended downtime.

PDU/Power strip failure ~7:30AM 09.01.08

Hello,

One of the PDU’s powering roughly 15 servers had failed this morning at around 7:30AM. We have gone ahead and replaced the faulty PDU and all servers should now be coming up.

The following list of shared/reseller servers were affected:

JET27.HASWEB.COM
DIME28.DIZINC.COM
DIME110.DIZINC.COM
JET33.HASWEB.COM
DIME90.DIZINC.COM
DIME109.DIZINC.COM

Power strip/PDU failures are very rare, so hopefully we shouldn’t be seeing anything of this nature for quite a while.

If you are still experiencing issues on any of the above servers, please submit a ticket to our helpdesk.

Dime108 Hardware Swap @ 3PM EST 08.23.08

Hello,

Dime108 has been experiencing some stability issues for this past week, and in an effort to alleviate these problems we have decided to perform a complete hardware swap for the machine. This operation should not take longer than 30 minutes.

We apologize for the short notice for this maintenance, but we need to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

On Friday the 15th August 2008 at 10PM EST we will be reinstalling dime60 to upgrade drives and remove the use of the /home2 setup.

This will take between 5-12 hours. We will keep this post updated.
